Yakuza: Like a Dragon departs from its long-running action-based battle system to turn-based. He eventually leads into a path of becoming a hero while being supported by other playable characters and allies he meets along the way. He sets out on his personal journey to uncover the truth while also facing other yakuza, triad, and Korean gangsters and criminals along the way. Kasuga wakes up half-naked under a pile of trash within Yokohama. He was thrown away and eventually shot in the chest. He returns to his Yakuza clan patriarch, Masumi Arakawa, but he was forgotten. The game is coming off from Kasuga’s finished 18-year imprisonment. Unlike the previous protagonist, Kazamu Kiryu, Kasuga is an emotional and outspoken character. Yakuza: Like a Dragon is set at Isezaki Ijincho, a district in Yokohama, and focuses on the life of Ichiban Kasuga. Yakuza: Like a Dragon will offer both Japanese and English audio to the player. Also, the game is doing away its brawler and beat’ em up mechanics for a turn-based battle style.
